Hello card with April Stamp of the Month

This April Stamp of the Month set is one of my favorites but I haven't had a chance to post anything yet with this stamp set so I figured I should squeak one in before the month was over.  I used Glacier ink and Seaside paper with some washi tape.  The sentiment is stamped and then heat embossed with gold for a little extra bling.

Random act of kindness card

I got this nice card in the mail earlier this week - it's a random act of kindness card, for no reason, just because.....isn't it cute?  Thank you very much to Carol Loftus for making my day special!

Cards for a Cause

Cards for a cause! My sister-in-law has MS and I'll be joining her for the local MS Walk coming up on May 3.  I thought it would be fun to offer some of these fun cards for anyone who donates $10 or more to the MS Walk for our team, I'll send you these three cards made with the latest paper pack from Close to My Heart. Please e-mail your mailing address after you've made your donation. My goal is to raise $300 for this event.

Donations can be made on the MS Walk site through my participant page.

Artfully Sent Happy Birthday Card

It's our son's birthday today so I thought I'd post a picture of the card I made with the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge.  The nice thing with these cartridges is that you can use a wide variety of papers to come up with different looks and you can mix/match different items as well.  The sentiment inside was cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  The mix of blue and orange worked well together for this fun card.

We are going to use this technique at next week's workshop so I thought this would be good to share before then; it's a fun technique to try out.
